How you can celebrate Earth Day (and how Billhighway can help!)

Earth day 2011 is coming up this Friday, April 22. Hopefully, the spring weather will be gorgeous where you are and you can enjoy some much needed down time outside. Looking for other ways to celebrate? Here are a few ideas:
- Start small. Minor changes around the house can be a BIG help for the environment. Here’s a green checklist to help you out.
- Attend a local event. Check your local papers/news for Earth Day events around your city. Volunteering at a local park or nature center is also a great way to lend a hand. Who knows- you may even come back for more.
- Recycle! I know you already recycle, but pledge to do even more this week. Did you know you can recycle printer cartridges? How about those plastic tray frozen dinners come in? Learn more ways you can recycle to help keep our earth b-e-a-utiful throughout the year.
You can also start your own local Earth Day event and celebration! We want to make it easy for you to collect money to donate to the environmental cause of your choice.
