Halloween at Billhighway

10/31/2011

Celebrating Halloween at Billhighway is always full of laughs. If you are calling in to our Client Care team, you may be unknowingly speaking with Woody Harrelson’s or Wesley Snipes’s character from “White Men Can’t Jump” or Cat in the Hat. Here are some of this year’s highlights.

How you can celebrate Earth Day (and how Billhighway can help!)

04/20/2011

Earth day 2011 is coming up this Friday, April 22. Hopefully, the spring weather will be gorgeous where you are and you can enjoy some much needed down time outside. Looking for other ways to celebrate? Here are a few ideas:

  1. Start small. Minor changes around the house can be a BIG help for the environment. Here’s a green checklist to help you out.
  2. Attend a local event. Check your local papers/news for Earth Day events around your city. Volunteering at a local park or nature center is also a great way to lend a hand. Who knows- you may even come back for more.
  3. Recycle! I know you already recycle, but pledge to do even more this week. Did you know you can recycle printer cartridges? How about those plastic tray frozen dinners come in? Learn more ways you can recycle to help keep our earth b-e-a-utiful throughout the year.

You can also start your own local Earth Day event and celebration! We want to make it easy for you to collect money to donate to the environmental cause of your choice. Use Billhighway’s donations functionality to create your own URL (http://donate.billhighway.com/MyEarthDay2011) and email to your supporters.

Vince Thomas and Angie Chism receive Tri Delta’s Vision Award

Arlington, Texas – July 7, 2010 – At its 54th Biennial Convention in Orlando, Fla., Delta Delta Delta awarded Vince Thomas and Angie Chism of Billhighway with Vision Awards. Winners of the Vision Award are selected by Tri Delta’s Executive Board in recognition and appreciation for significant contributions made to Delta Delta Delta and the interfraternal movement.

Billhighway is the leader in Financial Performance Optimization for membership-based groups, providing the web-based system that helps organizations enjoy improved financial health, operate more efficiently, and reduce the risk of fraud.  The company’s proprietary, all-in-one system comprehensively manages group finances and accounting offering a powerful combination that enables organizations to spend more time advancing their mission rather than managing finances.

“The collective knowledge, talent and dedication from Billhighway – and specifically Vince Thomas and Angie Chism – have translated into an amazing resource for Tri Delta,” says Fraternity President Jackye Brown Clark. “We are excited to continue our partnership into the future to introduce more innovative tools for our members’ ever-changing needs.”

“It has been our pleasure working with Tri Delta over the last 7 years,” says Angie Chism, Client Relations Specialist of Billhighway. “Being presented with the Vision Award to celebrate our partnership is truly an honor. We look forward to many more years to come.”

Tri Delta’s Vision Award recognizes companies, partners and Greek life professionals. With the award, Vince and Angie of Billhighway joined this year’s other Vision Award recipients: Ginny Carroll, principal and CEO of inGINuity, and Kate Gullatta, assistant director of student involvement at Allegheny College. Billhighway celebrates 10 years of making group finances easy

10/08/2009

From its beginnings nearly a decade ago as a simple money-management solution designed to collect money between roommates and paying bills, Billhighway has grown into a comprehensive web-based finance and accounting service targeted to the unique needs of member-based organizations.

Today, the company’s online financial services help member based groups bill members, collect money and streamline accounting processes. From Greek lettered organizations to associations, social groups and athletic teams, Billhighway has stayed true to its original goal of making group finances easy, no matter what type or size of group you are.
Billhighway began in 1999 as a simple service for roommates. When friends and strangers alike began requesting the service, the company’s foundation was formed.  Over the next few years, Billhighway made a leap ahead of the innovation curve by functionality and recruiting best in class professionals.

Billhighway’s next milestone was the complete and seamless integration of its accounting services and cash management, two vital components that are typically separate features. The company then launched an updated version of its software that delivered, for the first time, all accounting transactions in real time keeping these two vital components in sync.

“We’ve come a long way thanks to great customers and a lot of hard work and dedication by all the Billhighway team members,” said Steve Robert, Chief Information Officer. “We pride ourselves on listening carefully to what our customers need, and we improve our services accordingly based on their feedback as well as the changing market. Even greater things are on the way, so we’re excited about 2010 and beyond, and we know our customers will be, too.”

Is that Tom Cruise?
